The Town of Bridgewater
is accepting sealed bids for Voting Equipment, Software and related
items. The Town will also accept an allowance for trade-in of similar
equipment purchased in 1996. Sealed bids will be received at the Office
of the Selectmen, 25 South Street, Bridgewater, MA 02324 until 11 A.M.
on Thursday, October 9, 2008, at which time and place said bids will be
publicly opened and read aloud. Each bid should be clearly marked
“Voting Machines, Software and related items” and labeled “Attention;
Procurement Officer”.

specifications and requirements may be obtained by E-mail to
psullivan@bridgewaterma.org
or at the Office of the Selectmen, Town of Bridgewater, 25 South Street,
Bridgewater, MA 02324 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00
a.m. and 1:00 p.m. beginning Wednesday, September 24, 2008 until
Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
The Bidder agrees that
this bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty
(30) days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the
opening of the bids.
A Bid Bond, Cashier’s
Check, Treasurer’s Check or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the
bid amount payable to The Town of Bridgewater shall accompany each bid.
The Town of Bridgewater
reserves the right to waive informalities in bids and reserves the right
to accept or reject any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest
of the Town of Bridgewater. |
