Bridgewater Garden Club
2008 Events
The Bridgewater
Garden Club programs for 2008 are as follows. Visitors are
welcome and for additional information call 508-697-7617. All meetings
are held at the Senior Center, 10 Wally Krueger Way. Daytime meetings
at 1:00 p.m. and the evening at 7:30 p.m.

January |
23rd - Daytime meeting at the Senior
Center at 1:00 p.m.
A demonstration on jams and jellies by Mary Beers from the Greenbriar Jam
kitchen is Sandwich.
28th - Beginning at 7:30 at the Senior Center the evening division
will do "Art In Bloom". Members should bring a picture, painting or
photograph with flowers, clippers and a container and come learn how to
create a companion floral arrangement.

February |
25th - Theodore Woo from the Boston
office of homeland security border protection will tell how our borders
are protected from non-native species of flowers, fruits and vegetables.
The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Senior Center.
27th - Mr. Perry from Stop & Shop will explain and show some
of the less common fruits and vegetables at 1 p.m. at the Senior Center .

Saturday, May 10th - Annual
Spring Plant Sale
This event will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. inside the Senior Center
on Wally Krueger Way. Many of the plants come from members gardens.
Perennials, annuals, hanging plants and other materials are available.
Profits benefit the scholarship fund. Master gardeners are available to
