Establishment:
The Bridgewater Recreation Commission is
comprised of five elected commissioners who are committed to
providing and improving recreational activities and facilities for the
townspeople of Bridgewater. The Commission was formed in March, 1935 as a
Playground Commission. With the increase of fields and recreational
activities, this was changed to the Recreation Commission in 1971.

are coordinated through our staff, which is comprised of a full time
superintendent, an assistant, and a part-time secretary.
The
Recreation Commission meets the first Monday of every month at 90 Cottage

Commission meets on the following Monday.
