Mission Statement |
The Bridgewater Board of Health is charged
with the responsibility of providing the Town of Bridgewater with public
health protection by developing, implementing and enforcing health
policies. The Board of Health also enforces all State and Federal public
health related laws and maintains accurate records required by State and
Federal health agencies. There are 3 elected Board members, 4 Agents, 1
Office administrator, and 1 office clerk all work together as a team in the
operation of the Health Department. Also, working in close cooperation with
the Visiting Nurses Association and local Doctors, and other Town Boards and
Departments, the Board of Health closely monitors all health related issues
in the Community to provide assistance and reassurance to the citizens of
Bridgewater regarding the health safety of the Community.
