Wrestling Club

Sponsored by the Bridgewater Recreation Commission, the Brick Road Wrestling Club is open to all students from Bridgewater and Raynham in grades four through eight. The program is held on Tuesdays & Fridays from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School gym beginning December 6^th which is also Registration Night. Tournaments will begin on Sundays, January 8^th through February 26^th.

The club teaches the younger members the basics of wrestling and an appreciation for the sport in a fun, developmental environment. Students learn appropriate wrestling techniques, rules used in high school competition, and wrestle within their weight class. Advanced wrestlers will develop their skills with some of New England’s best clinicians.

Each session will include one hour of instruction and drills followed by a half-hour of free mat time for wrestling. Participants should wear shorts and a tee shirt.
