Parking Ticket Appeals

A parking violation appeal form must be returned to the Selectmen's Office along with the following:
  1. The original parking ticket or hearing notice
  2. Documentation supporting the reason for the appeal. Any statements submitted from any individuals other than yourself must be notarized.
  3. A self-addressed stamped envelope to allow for notification of the result of the appeal decision.
When the appeal form is complete, you may mail it to the following address:
  • Parking Hearing Officer, 66 Central Square, Bridgewater, MA 02324
The appeal does not have to be submitted in person for processing. An incomplete appeal will not be accepted. Forgetting to submit a self-addressed stamped envelope will cause the ticket to remain active, which will result in additional penalties accumulating to the original ticket fine until a proper appeal is submitted or the ticket is paid in full. All requirements of the appeal must be met.  Your cooperation in this matter would ensure that the appeal process will be handled within a reasonable time period.

Failure to comply with the above requirements within 21 days from the date of the violation will result in additional penalties accumulating to the original violation(s).
