Tax Collector/Treasurer Department
Mission Statement
The Treasurer/Collector department is responsible for managing the town’s cash maintaining an optimal balance between cash safety and liquidity to pay the town’s bills while maximizing interest yield in a professional, efficient and effective manner.
Billing
The Treasurer/Collector department is responsible for the generation, distribution and collection of real estate tax, personal property tax and motor vehicle and boat excise tax. The department also collects water and sewer bills.
