Complete Streets Construction Project - Main Street and Broad Street

The Town of Bridgewater has been awarded a grant from MADOT’s Complete Streets Funding Program which we will utilize to improve pedestrian, bike, and vehicular traffic as well as create a safer traffic environment in downtown. This project includes improvements to Broad Street and Main Street consisting of replacing and/or adding crosswalks, ADA compliant wheelchair ramps, signage, curb extensions, lighting, and bike lanes. Details on these updates are available to review through the Community and Economic Development office, and we encourage residents and commuters to contact Elijah Romulus, Assistant Town Planner, at or (508) 697-0950 if you have any questions about the project. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences during these improvements.
