Weekly update on the NEW High Street Water Treatment Facility

Week of October 11th thru October 15th

*Waterline continued installation of fill, sand, geotextile fabric, and modified rockfill at backwash basins #1 and #2

*Waterline continued with installation of insulation, vapor barrier, and FRP ceiling panels at the filter room.

*Waterline continued installation of the standing metal seam roof system at the WTP.

*Waterline continued installation of HVAC equipment and ductwork at the WTP.

*Waterline continued installation of plumbing rough-ins and insulation of piping at the WTP.

*Waterline continued installation of electrical rough-ins and wire connections to electrical panels.

*Waterline continued installation of backwash piping to the backwash headwalls.

Week of September 27th thru October 1st

*Waterline started installation of sand, geotextile fabric, and modified rock at backwash basins #1 and #2 and the infiltration basin.

*Waterline continued with installation of acrylic insulation coating on filter tank #1.

*Waterline started installation of insulation and interior wall panels at the maintenance garage.

*Waterline completed the installation of the roof system at the maintenance garage.

*Waterline continued installation of the roof system at the WTP.

*Waterline started installation of HVAC and UV equipment at the WTP.

*Waterline continued with electrical and plumbing rough-ins at the WTP.

*Waterline continued with installation of gypsum wall board walls and ceilings at the maintenance garage addition.

*Waterline started installation of the translucent windows at the maintenance garage.

Week of September 13th thru September 17th

*Waterline continued earthwork fill, grading, compacting and installing sand for the backwash basins #1 and infiltration basin.

*Waterline started applying Tnemec protective coating on walls and floors in the chemical containment areas.

*Waterline started interior sand blasting prep work and finish coats at filter tank #1.

*Waterline continued electrical and plumbing rough-ins at the WTP.

*Waterline started installation of the standing seam roof at the WTP and the maintenance garage.

*Waterline started installation of wall insulation and drywall at the maintenance garage addition.

*Waterline started installation of concrete generator pad at well #8.

Week of September 6th thru September 10th

*Waterline continued earthwork for infiltration/backwash basins.

*Waterline plans to finish with concrete prep work for the chemical containment areas.

*Waterline completed interior filter tank sandblasting prep work and finish coats at filter tank #2.

*Waterline started coating exterior tank #2 walls and roof with insulation acrylic.

*Waterline continued fire protection and electrical rough-ins at the Water Treatment Plant.

*Waterline started installation of standing seam roof at the Water Treatment Plant.

*Waterline completed installation of backwash headwall structures and weir curbs at infiltration and backwash basins.

*Waterline started installation of metal roof at the maintenance building.

Week of August 23rd thru August 27th

*Waterline continued earthwork for infiltration/backwash basin.

*Waterline completed installation of doors and doorframes at the WTP.

*Waterline completed installation of louvers at the WTP.

*Waterline started concrete prep work for the chemical containment areas.

*Waterline started interior filter tank sand blasting prep work.

Week of August 16th thru August 20th

*Waterline continued earthwork for infiltration/backwash basins.

*Waterline completed installation of generator pad at Well 8

*Waterline continued installation of aluminum door frames and started hanging metal doors.

*Waterline completed installation of 5/8" plywood roof decking at filter room high roof and installation of ice/water barrier.

*Waterline started installation of louvers.

*Waterline started installation of metal strapping at filter room ceilings.

Week of August 9th thru August 13th

*Waterline began roof truss modification work.

*Waterline completed 5/8" plywood decking and ice/water barrier over the high roof.

*Waterline began earthwork grading and compaction required to form infiltration and backwash basins.

*Waterline continued with electrical and plumbing rough-ins.

*Waterline completed primary electrical duct banks from utility pole #115 to the WTP.

*Waterline continued painting walls and ceilings at the WTP.

Week of July 26th thru July 30th

*Waterline will continue painting structural steel/purlins for the new maintenance garage.

*Waterline will continue painting first coat of Tnemec  paint in filter room.

*Waterline will start rough plumbing work at the WTP.

*Waterline will continue installing fire protection piping at the WTP.

*Waterline will start trucking material onto the site to perform earthwork grading for perimeter slopes and entrance roadway.

*Waterline will continue installation of electrical conduits/boxes and pulling wire.

Week of July 19th thru July 23rd

*Waterline will continue installation of electrical primary/secondary ductbanks.

*Waterline will continue installation of gypsum wallboard and taping ceilings at offices and bathrooms.

*Waterline will continue installation of fire protection piping.

*Waterline will continue installation of conduits/boxes and start pulling wire.

*Waterline will start painting structural steel members for the new maintenance garage.

*Waterline will start earthwork.

Week of July 12th thru July 16th

*Waterline will start installation of electrical handholes and National Grid transformer pad/containment curb.

*Waterline will continue installation of electrical primary/secondary duct banks.

*Waterline will continue prep work on the interior walls of the filter tanks.

*Waterline will continue painting first finish coat of Tnemec paint on CMU block walls and ceilings.

*Waterline will start first coat of Tnemec paint on hollow metal frames and doors.

Week of July 5th thru July 9th

*Waterline will start installation of Fascia trim work.

*Waterline will continue installation of electrical duct banks.

*Waterline will continue installation of Fire Protection pipe work.

*Waterline will start prep work on the interior walls of the Filter Tanks.

Week of June 21st thru June 25th

*Waterline located the existing 10" water line at Wellfield Drive.  An additional test pit will be required to determine the extent of the subsurface concrete mass found in test pit.

*Waterline continues with the installation of the 2X fascia nailer board.

*Waterline started installation of the generator pad, electrical conduits and gas line embedded in the pad.

*Waterline installed and backfilled the 1,500-gallon septic tank and pump chamber.

*Waterline started painting CMU block filler coat at the WTP.

Week of June 14th thru June 18th

*Waterline has completed leakage tests for both filter tanks with no problems to report.

*Waterline has installed and tested the treated water line with no problems to report.

*Waterline has completed installation of roof trusses.

*Waterline continues with installation of electrical above-ceiling conduit and boxes.

Week of June 7th thru June 11th

*Waterline completed filter tank assembly.

*Waterline began water testing of filter tanks.

*Waterline set gable ends and roof truss framework on the low and high roofs of the WTP.

*Waterline installed the 10" X 12" tapping sleeve into the existing 10" water line in High Street.

*Waterline installed 12" DI treated water pipe, a gate valve and 6" DI pipe, and a 12" X 6" tee and gate valve for hydrant service.

Week of May 24th thru May 28th

*Waterline continues welding nozzles, grinding and welding tank wall seams and roof sections.

*Waterline continues installation of water sample, service, and fire protection lines.

*Waterline will start installation of roof trusses at the Water Treatment Plant.

*Waterline completed installation of the 1500-gallon industrial wastewater holding tank at the maintenance garage.

Week of May 17th thru May May 21st

*Waterline completed entryway concrete footings, frost walls, and slabs on grade.

*Waterline continues with installation of 12" DIA.  Treated water, raw water, and backwash water piping.

*Waterline continues with installation of 12" RCP storm drain.

*Waterline continues with the setting and welding work for the filter tank.

*Waterline will start installation of the 1,500 gallon industrial wastewater holding tank at the maintenance building.

Week of May 3rd thru May 7th

*Waterline completed concrete piers and pilasters at the maintenance garage.

*Waterline will continue filter tank shell welding in the filter room.

*Waterline started installation of 12" RCP piping and 4' DIA.  Manholes for the storm drain system at the main building.

Week of April 25th thru April 30th

*Waterline installed electrical rough-in work at the maintenance garage addition.

*Waterline excavated, formed, and placed concrete for piers and pilasters at the maintenance garage.

*Waterline continues to set and weld filter tank shell sections in the filter room.

*Waterline installed septic leaching system at the maintenance garage.

Week of April 19th thru April 23rd

*Waterline demolished and removed the metal building at the maintenance garage.  The existing holding tank was also removed.

*Waterline completed masonry blockwork.

*Waterline excavated septic tank and 4" septic pipe.

*Waterline started installation of roof trusses and sheathing for the maintenance garage.

*Waterline started assembly and welding for the 16' diameter filter tanks.

Week of April 12th thru April 16th

*Waterline continues installation of veneer block work and interior CMU block walls at the WTP building.

*Waterline completed SCADA system upgrade work at Carver Pond Water Treatment Facility and Wells 1, 2, 3 and 4.

*Waterline started excavation for installation of 1,500 gal septic tank at maintenance garage addition.

*Waterline started demolition of the maintenance garage.

*Waterline received delivery of two filter tanks.

Week of March 29th thru April 2nd

*Waterline completed 8" and 12" CMU block work and application of air barrier material for the perimeter walls at the WTP.

*Waterline continues excavation and installation for the stormwater galley system.

*Waterline continues framing walls, rough electrical and plumbing work at the Maintenance Garage addition.

*Waterline started installing insulation and setting split-face block work at exterior walls at the WTP.

*Waterline started rough carpentry blocking for window/door openings and top of walls.

Week of March 22nd thru March 26th

*Waterline continues with 8" and 12" CMU block work for the perimeter walls at the WTP.

*Waterline completed installation of the gabion stone wall.

*Waterline started application of air barrier coating on the high filter CMU block walls.

*Waterline started excavation for the storm water gallery subgrade.

*Waterline continues wall framing for the maintenance garage addition.

*Waterline set 8" precast concrete hollow core planks at chemical rooms.

Week of March 15th thru March 19th

*Waterline Industries started 12" CMU block installation for perimeter walls.

*Waterline Industries completed septic leaching bed at the WTP.

*Waterline Industries started excavation and installation gabion stone wall.

*Waterline Industries started wall framing for the maintenance garage addition.

Week of March 8th thru March 12th

*Waterline performed compaction tests, installed under slab conduits/sweeps and water plumbing pipe at maintenance garage addition.

*Waterline installed re-bar and poured concrete floor slab at maintenance garage addition.

*Waterline excavated and installed materials for the leaching bed.

*Waterline completed the  high wall CMU block work at the filter room.

*Waterline started CMU block work for the perimeter exterior WTP walls.

Week of February 19th thru February 25th

*Waterline placed concrete for chemical tank and pump pads.

*Waterline completed foundation footings at the maintenance garage.

*Waterline set forms and poured concrete for foundation walls at the maintenance garage.

*Waterline started CMU block work around the filter room.

Week of February 12th thru February 19th

*Waterline completed filter walkway slab and 16-ft diameter filter tank concrete pads at filter room.

*Waterline formed and placed concrete footings for the maintenance garage, break room and bathroom addition.

*Waterline installed scaffolding for masonry walls around filter room.

Week of January 29th thru February 5th

*Waterline continues installation of electrical conduits under floor slabs at pump and electrical rooms.

*Waterline is placing structural fill and compacting for the floor slabs at the filter room.

*Waterline will start installation of electrical conduit and rebar under concrete floor slab in filter room.

Week of January 21st thru January 28th

*Waterline continues installation of electrical conduits under floor slabs at pump and electrical rooms.

*Waterline has completed plumbing for all under slab tubing and floor drains within the building.

*Waterline completed concrete floor slabs in control, chemical, garage rooms and the 18" filter slab.

*Waterline completed the retaining wall.

*All concrete work has been performed in accordance to ACI 306R-16 Cold Weather Concreting.

Week of January 7th thru January 14th

*Waterline completed frost walls and interior walls

*Waterline continued backfill with structural fill and compaction within the building.

*Waterline installed under slab plumbing pipe and floor drains in west section of the building.

*Waterline installed 6" of 3/4" stone for slab on grade for the west section of the building.

*Waterline completed formwork and rebar for the exterior wall along the E-line.

*Waterline installed electrical conduits between the control room to electric room.

Week of December 24 thru December 31st

*Waterline continued forming, pouring, and stripping frost walls and interior walls.  Approximately 70% complete to date.

*Waterline continued to set retaining wall blocks.  Approximately 75% complete.

Week of December 17th thru December 23th

*Waterline Industries continued forming, pouring and stripping frost walls and interior walls.  Approximately 60% complete to date.  Waterline is using Thawzall hydronic heating system and insulation blankets to allow for cold weather concrete placement.

*Waterline Industries continued to set retaining wall blocks.  Approximately 65% complete to date.

Week of December 10th thru December 17th

*Waterline Industries continues forming, pouring, and stripping frost walls and interior walls.  Approximately 55% complete to date

*Waterline Industries installing under slab plumbing pipe at mechanical, washroom, lab and break rooms

*Waterline Industries continues to set retaining wall blocks.  Approximately 50% complete to date

*Construction site closed on Thursday December 17th due to weather.  Waterline Industries will resume construction on site Monday December 21st and will work a typical 4-day work week

Week of December 2nd thru December 9th

Waterline Industries continues:

*Forming, pouring and stripping frost walls and interior walls

*To place and tie rebar for frost walls and interior walls

*To excavate for retaining wall subgrade

*To set retaining wall blocks, approximately 40% complete to date

Week of November 12 thru November 19th

Waterline Industries has:

*Begun excavation for the retaining wall

*Poured concrete footings and flume and backwash sump slab on grades

*Stripped forms at prior poured footings

*Has begun placing and tying rebar for frost walls and wall along E-line

*Placed backfill around footings

*Poured concrete for slab on grade at chemical feed area
